Whenever appropriate, I advocate the use of alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative law. I am keenly aware that legal problems are financially draining, and I work hard to keep your costs down.

After working for several years as a family law research attorney with the Monterey courts, I am fluent in all of the local court procedures and processes. As a family law attorney, I am also aware of the inherent limitations courts of law have when resolving disputes. A judge can only choose among a number of standard options when presented with your dispute. With mediation or collaborative law, clients can consider all of the issues—not just those that area admissible as evidence.
